Quality Review
CPA firms generally have a quality review completed of their audit and accounting practice at least once every three years. The review is required of all certified public accounting firms that are members of the AICPA and is done to ensure that the highest level of quality and accounting standards are being adhered to by each member firm.
Throughout the years, our firm has received the best results a firm can receive, with clean opinions in 2003 and again in 2006 and we continued to work hard toward that result again for our 2009 review, which took place in November.
For this year, the reviewers first determined that we have adequate quality control systems in place, and then verified that professional standards were followed in our accounting and auditing engagements. Therefore, we are pleased to report a peer review rating of Pass, the highest ranking in a system review.
