William E. Hubly, II

Bill is the Managing Principal of Corbett, Duncan & Hubly. His major areas of concentration are in strategic planning and organizational efficiency, family business, entrepreneurial consulting, and personal financial planning.

Bill joined the firm in 1989.

He takes a personal interest in his clients and often serves in the role of their outsourced controller. He assisted a personal services company to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance of their business in a simplistic and timely manner. He helped a start-up general contractor in developing its business plan in order to attract the outside capital necessary to start and grow the business. His personal philosophy is to provide Five Star service.

Bill has presented business and financial topics at various seminars, including Enterprise Network's annual convention and Lorman Education Services. His article, "One Vision," was published in The Practical Accountant.

When asked what inspired him to become an accountant, he says, "I took my first accounting class in high school and enjoyed it." Bill attributes his success to understanding the benefits of teamwork and goal setting, something he learned while playing college basketball. He said that his parents instilled the fact that hard work pays off.

When not serving clients, Bill enjoys coaching youth sports, golf, skiing and health and fitness.
