Always Listen to Your Mentor

As a Mentor, I enjoy providing assistance to my mentees. One of my primary goals as a mentor is to help eliminate "growing pains" and to provide a means of helpful direction and assistance. As a developmental tool, I challenge my mentees to determine what is important to their every day work life. My list is short - but clear. Perhaps your list is similar (if you don't have a list - I challenge you to think about it!).

Work / Life Balance. CDH maintains a balance - even during Opportunity Season.

Open Culture. CDH management listens to everyone's opinions and will pursue fixing the problem/issue right away.

Personal Development. CDH offers excellent training (internal and external) and educational programs promoting both technical and soft skill development. Everyone has opportunities to speak at seminars, or write articles, if they wish. They promote learning and growth.

Variety of Work. CDH provides opportunities to work on a variety of projects providing cross-learning amongst the departments of audit, tax and consulting.
