As a first year accountant, deciding what path to take and what direction to go in the accounting field can be difficult. CDH has provided a wonderful opportunity to learn and experience the various facets of the accounting field.
My responsibilities at CDH have allowed me to experience both tax and entrepreneurial services by assisting our clients with tax matters as well as their day-to-day bookkeeping operations. My weekly schedule entails a variety of responsibility which keeps my mind refreshed and ready, and makes every day interesting. For example, one day I may be in the office working on a tax project, and the next I am going to a client site to provide other accounting related services. The learning opportunities are never ending and working directly with clients at their site is enjoyable! Working both in and out of the office provides a great balance for my work ethics and my mind. It increases my productivity and provides a healthy, balanced work environment. I am provided with challenges and opportunities and I enjoy the feeling of success and accomplishments!
