I worked at CDH for five years prior to leaving the Firm to become the controller of a large local home builder in the Chicagoland area. During my three years in the controller position, I was able to apply the knowledge gained from my experience at CDH, including building a 5 person accounting team. After the birth of my first child, I desired a flexible program - which was not being offered from the home builder - so I approached CDH about being rehired.
I have been back at CDH on a part-time basis for 2 years. In that time I have been able to expand my role and responsibilities while being offered the same flexibility as originally promised - and more. During my 2 years of employment we had our second child and I took an extended leave of absence. Upon return, I continued in the same capacity prior to my leave.
With the excellent technology provided by CDH, and the support of a flexible schedule, I am able to work from my home office allowing me the opportunity to perform a large portion of my tasks without commuting to the office. I am able to spend more time with my family while continuing to grow my career at CDH.
