Manufacturing/Distribution

Our Manufacturing practice is very well established and has developed specialized skills in serving and working with privately-held manufacturing and distribution clients. Manufacturing sectors we are experienced in include: tool & die, tool & mold, metal fabricators, metal stamping, equipment manufacturing and assembly, and production-related manufacturing companies. Additional sectors we have worked with include: food and beverage, apparel, printing, consumer packaged goods, auto aftermarket, furniture, textiles, technology and pharmaceuticals.

Our Manufacturing practice continuously explores new ways and strategies to help clients increase bottom line profit and maximize shareholder net worth. Today, the manufacturing industry is in an era of rapid change and global competition. Now, more so than ever before, it is imperative that small and mid-sized manufacturers consistently improve productivity and efficiencies in order to survive and remain competitive in a global economy.

As a member of Enterprise Network Worldwide, a worldwide organization of independent accounting and consulting firms with more than 100 firms in 40 countries, we can assist with planning strategies for international operations and distribution channels. Among our international clients, the vast majority are manufacturers and wholesale distributors.

Success Stories/Client Testimonials

  • Our Manufacturing practice provided all accounting and financial functions for a meat-packing company. Because of the accuracy of reporting information, and our solid reputation within the banking community, the client was able to expand its relationship with banks to work with larger banks, which ended up helping the company grow and increase annual revenues.
  • We analyzed a client's job flow and production processes to identify inefficiencies and provide solutions for improvement. Costs studies were implemented and production rates were developed for each operation of the production process. Using the newly-defined production rates, a computerized quoting template was developed for pricing purposes. An automated job costing and tracking system was implemented for tracking and analyzing job profitability.
