Jun Okubo promoted to Principal in the International Services Group at Corbett, Duncan & Hubly, P.C.
Corbett, Duncan & Hubly, P.C. – Itasca, IL (Jan 1, 2007) – Jun Okubo has been elected Principal in the accounting firm of Corbett, Duncan & Hubly, P.C. a midwest regional firm based in Itasca, Illinois. “Since joining Corbett, Duncan & Hubly, Jun has been a tremendous asset to our team and to our clients. In addition to expanding our International Services Group practice, Jun has given us some great ideas for improving our core business. Jun works as a lead outsourcing and consulting expert for clients in a variety of industries including distribution, manufacturing, and service companies. Through various accounting outsourcing services, Jun has developed a broad base of knowledge on how business activities impact financial results. Many of his entrepreneurial clients utilize him as a resource and sounding board in making key business decisions.
In addition to working as a consulting and outsourcing leader, Jun has significant experience providing accounting software consulting and information system audits for manufacturing and distribution companies. Jun also specializes in automating the accounting and business processes by writing Visual Basic programs and by customizing existing and new accounting systems.
Jun holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to being a CPA, Jun also holds designations as a certified Internal Auditor and a certified Quickbooks Professional Advisor.
